About Compensation

We pay our participants for their time while participating in our studies, typically about $125 per day. Stipends are paid five working days after the completion of the study. We issue a check with no taxes withheld. QPS Bio-Kinetic will file a 1099 at the end of the year for each participant who has earned $600 or more that year. Since these are not “earned wages,” and you are not employed by us, they are only subject to state and federal taxes.
